Celeste Howden is based in our main office located in Sydney. Celeste holds a BA in Communications, the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training BSB40198 and the Cert IV in Project Management BSB41504. She is experienced in communications, marketing and multi-media resource development and managed the Make It! campaign to promote the manufacturing industry as a viable career option to young people.

Her work with Manufacturing Learning Australia includes resource development, assisting companies to develop and implement effective skills programs, mentoring and workplace assessment and AQTF compliance support for Registered Training Organisations.


Wendy Davies

Wendy is based in Victoria and holds a Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems BSZ50198, the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 and a post graduate qualification in applied science. Wendy has more than 10 years experience within the Vocational Education and Training sector - as a lecturer at TAFE and university and managing complex projects including industry networks and the development and review of national Training Packages.

Her work with Manufacturing Learning Australia includes project management, assisting companies to develop and implement effective skills programs, mentoring and workplace assessment and AQTF compliance support for Registered Training Organisations.

Wendy is an accredited Training Recognition Consultant and conducts Australian Qualifications Training Framework audits for the Victorian Qualifications Authority.

Sarah Quinton

Sarah is based on the South Coast of NSW and holds a Bachelor of Adult Education (Human Resources and Development), the Diploma in Project Management and the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. Sarah has more than six years experience in training and assessment, and the implementation of corporate project management solutions. She has also worked in accounts management and operations/procurement in manufacturing.

Sarah's work with Manufacturing Learning Australia includes consulatation with local manufacturers, project management, assisting companies to develop and implement effective skills programs, mentoring and workplace assessment, development of learning and assessment resources and AQTF compliance support for Registered Training Organisations.

 

Edyta Pawlukiewicz

Edyta Pawlukiewicz (Administration Support)

Edyta Pawlukiewicz holds a Master of Arts in Polish Language and Literature and has experience as a teacher in the Polish school system. She also brings significant experience in client service, information management, marketing, preparing budgets and tenders, having worked in the Polish IT industry, civil service and the State Mining Authority.

Edyta is currently undertaking the Advanced Diploma in Business Management BSB60201.

 

Barry Luttrell

Barry Luttrell holds engineering and post graduate qualifications in Education and Training and has in excess of 20 years practical experience in Vocational Education and Training including 10 years with TAFE NSW and 10 years as National Training Adviser to a large company across the construction materials, manufacturing and mining sectors.

Barry is an expert in AQTF compliance systems and in ensuring training and assessment processes deliver quality workplace outcomes. Through his extensive “hands on” experience managing national and international training projects, Barry has developed an in depth understanding of business imperatives and the application of training in business planning, HR management, quality systems and the bottom line.

His work with Manufacturing Learning Australia includes national oversight of our skills programs, providing a lead assessor role on many of our projects, and assisting companies to implement effective 'lean' or high-effeciency systems.

 

Barbara Wallace (Director)

Barbara Wallace worked as projects manager with Manufacturing Learning Australia and its predecessor body since 1994. During that time she managed the development and review of process manufacturing Training Packages, managed projects to develop learning resources and has monitored quality outcomes for all of MLA's projects. She is an acknowledged expert on national training arrangements and the implementation of structured training under the National Training Quality Framework.

Barbara is an Industry Coordinator with Manufacturing Skills Australia, the national manufacturing industry skills council.

Jenny Luttrell (Retired as Director, November 2007)

Jenny Luttrell holds the Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems BSZ50198 and the Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) BSB51001. She has more than 10 years experience assisting organisations in a number of industries to design and implement competency based training in the workplace. She is currently working with the implementation of lean systems.

She has managed the development and review of competency based training using Training Packages, developed learning resources and monitored the quality and outcomes of training projects.

Her work with Manufacturing Learning Australia includes assisting companies to develop and implement effective skills programs, mentoring and workplace assessment, and assisting companies to implement effective 'lean' or high-effeciency systems.
